Medior Frontend Developer
Code is a high-end e-commerce agency with Shopify at its core. Being a Coder means you are at the forefront of designing, developing and optimizing online stores for ambitious brands like Stoov, Intersport, Alpinestars, BOSKA, Mercer Amsterdam and Rosefield.
We're a team of 55 developers, project managers, marketers and e-commerce consultants with a shared passion: e-commerce. We are remote-friendly and spread out across our three offices in Delft, Amsterdam and Berlin. With 16 different nationalities and over 40% women, we are a diverse team. We love our warm-hearted culture and daily lunches; being social is deeply rooted in our work culture. We have created a great place to work for our Coders and we constantly strive for a healthy work-life balance. Personal development is one of our key company values.
But enough about us - we want to know more about you!
About the role
As a Medior Frontend Developer at Code, you build high-performance, user-friendly, and visually stunning Shopify webshops. You seamlessly translate designs into pixel-perfect storefronts and develop custom solutions that make an impact. You do this using Liquid, Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
Working closely with designers, backend developers, and project managers, you bring our clients’ technical visions to life. Whether it’s improving load times, adding innovative features, or optimizing the user experience, you know exactly how to leverage technology to take e-commerce to the next level.
Every day brings new technical challenges, such as:
- How do we optimize this webshop for maximum speed and conversion?
- How do we build a flexible component library that scales across multiple clients?
- How do we enhance the user experience with interactive elements?
At Code, you get the chance to make a real impact. You’ll work on unique projects, like a 3D/AR product viewer for BURNHARD or a racesuit configurator for Alpinestars. No standard templates, just tailor-made solutions that push Shopify to its limits.
